Own it from abroad — we take care of it.

The hard part of owning a cabin 1,500 km from home is not the buying — it is wondering who looks after it. This field is built for remote ownership.

Year-round caretaker

An app-managed caretaker service (NOK 399/month): regular inspections with photo reports, key handling, snow clearing and small repairs. You see your cabin from your phone.

Your boat, handled

Private berth in the finished marina (NOK 80,000, no waiting list) with floating jetties, wave breakers and a boat hoist. The caretaker can take your boat in and out of the water for the season.

Turnkey build, local eyes

Saltdalshytta delivers the cabin finished, and the caretaker is your local eyes on the site while you are abroad. Road, water, sewage and power are already at the plot boundary.

Everyday practicalities solved

Shop, café and post office are 5 minutes away at Byrknes — and your caretaker can even do your grocery runs, so you arrive to a stocked fridge. The field is always open: come whenever you like and walk the plots at your own pace.

The sea outside your window.

Gulen is internationally known among sea anglers and divers, and the archipelago outside the field counts more than 1,000 islands, islets and skerries.

World-class sea fishing

Cod, saithe and mackerel right off the jetty, bigger fish in the Sognesjøen. With your own berth you are on the fishing grounds minutes after your morning coffee.

Famous dive sites

The Gulen dive resort nearby is one of Northern Europe’s best-known cold-water destinations — wrecks, walls and clear water.

Skjerjehamn next door

A historic trading post with hotel, restaurant, gallery and the annual UTKANT festival — life nearby, when you want it.

Four real seasons

Long bright summer evenings, proper autumn storms, mild coastal winters with the occasional northern lights, and an early spring.
